Memories are donkey bridges for easy learning of factual knowledge. Memories are often funny or memorable sentences that rhyme. Memories are used where pure factual knowledge has to be learned that is not related to knowledge that is already known. Things that cannot be related to other things are difficult to memorize.

Information that is presented to the brain in the form of rhymes and melodies, on the other hand, finds its way into memory particularly easily. They are usually short, concise and rhythmic.
